Charlotte Paws was founded by Genesis and me — but its heart belongs to Genesis's story.
She had always dreamed of having a Chihuahua. The day she met Charlotte, nothing went as planned: Charlotte wasn't a Chihuahua at all, but a little Shih Tzu, born sick with health complications and abandoned after her breeder couldn't sell her. It didn't matter one bit — Genesis fell in love on the spot. The vets weren't hopeful, but after days on IV fluids and round-the-clock care, Charlotte pulled through. She came home and has been family ever since, never 'just a dog.'
That's the belief we built this store on: every small dog deserves to be loved like the family they are.
